To make sure our members stay safe in the time of COVID-19, the in-person Camp Onas weekend was cancelled — but the ECRS spirit lives on! Following the success of ECRS's Virtual Play Party, this three-hour extravaganza featured three class periods (with bio breaks built in) followed by time to hang out and socialize.

Schedule
First period
- NIA — and Marko Schmale
A combination of healing arts, martial arts, and dance — move, heal, and sing a little with a few basic NIA routines. Wear comfortable clothes; participate seated or standing.
- Booklet Making
Make an 8-page booklet from one sheet of paper. Enrollment limited to eleven screens.
- Gardening Reflections
Use gardening as inspiration for self-reflection and conversation, sharing gardening experiences and playful or insightful thoughts.
Second period
- Happiness as a Practice
Evidence-based techniques and strategies to make happiness a consistent practice, with positive activity interventions and exercises filled with laughter.
- Charades
A noisy, grammatically-incomplete game of charades in Zoom breakout rooms — race against the timer to describe words with only body movements.
- Informal Dramatics
Playing theater games to stretch imaginations, spark creativity, and develop wild characters. Wear your PJs — no drama, only dramatics!
Third period
- 30-Second Monologues
Guide your partner through short monologues exploring character, relationships, and objectives, then perform them. Class size limited to 14.
- The Write Stuff
Original exercises to stimulate creativity and break through writing blocks, then write from what you know best — the stories of your lives. Shared within small groups.
- Living Room Dance
ECRS-style dances that work well in small spaces — no dance hall required.
