We're excited this year to highlight our young (or young adult, really) leaders at Camp Onas. Newcomers and ECRS veterans alike enjoy the chance to focus on a theme in daytime classes — whether dancing, singing, informal dramatics, crafts, or games. Then at Evening Program, everyone comes together as a community to dance, sing, play games, and socialize over snacks.
Camp Onas is a summer camp facility on 72 wooded acres, with platform tents offering cots and bunk beds (or bring your own tent), plus a limited number of dormitory-style rooms. There are shared wash & shower facilities with hot water.

Start with a traditional dance, spice it up with a rock version, then fit those steps to different music.
- Hat Games
Put games into hats, pick them out, and play for about 10 minutes each.
- Creature Creation
Creative games with just paper and pencil — one person creates the top half of a creature, the other draws the bottom half without seeing it.
- New Year Dance Practice
Learn some of the traditional NYE dances that ECRS does every year, ahead of time.
- Natural Pigments
Make your own pigments and paint brushes/tools out of natural materials — berries, twigs, feathers, and more.
- Car Games
Games using only your words, hands, and imagination — perfect for a road trip. Contact, Eye Spy, 21 Questions, and more.
- Stress Relief
Explore ways to cope with everyday life and situations that seem beyond your control.
- Improv Theater
Learn the basic skills of being a good improviser onstage and in life through theater games and simple scenes. No experience necessary. (Ages 11+)
- Party Games
A chance to be together, play together, and let your hair down — new games, old games, quiet games, and raucous ones.
- Water Games — Jack Marquess
An ECRS Camp Onas tradition, handed to a young leader this year.
- Children's Program — Tim Siftar Ages 5-11
New to ECRS? We'd love for you to come to Onas for your first taste of ECRS. Newcomers save $20 on already low prices.
